Message from Head of Junior School - February 10, 2017

Dear JS Parents,

What a wonderful Spirit Week we have had!  We really appreciate all of your support in getting the girls ready, and especially loved seeing the crazy hairstyles!

By now you have read your daughter's report card.  Along with the faculty, I am very proud of the efforts that are made by our students daily.  What stands out most, is the careful balance between the teaching and learning of foundational skills in Literacy and Mathematics, and the ability of the girls to apply these skills across all subject areas.  A huge thank you to the faculty for the thoughtful work that goes into writing the report cards.

Parents will have the opportunity to meet with their daughter's teacher to discuss their progress on Thursday, March 2.  Please see below for how to sign up for these interviews (Pick-a-Time).

Warmly,
Leslie Anne

Please Note:

Pick-a-Time Opens at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb 15

Attendance

  • The safety of our students is the school's primary concern.  A friendly reminder to let the office (416-483-3843 ext 6510 or jsoffice@havergal.on.ca) and the classroom teacher know if your daughter will not be at school.  We ask that you let us know by 8:30 a.m.
